If a site adds a more-basic version for the few percent who adopt early versions of proprietary devices, do you think this means that they'll also knock down the 95% of other visitors who possess standard capability?

(Question may seem rhetorical, but I see a push among the Apple fansites this week to convince readers that their investment will be supported, despite the rest of the market moving to Flash. The logic doesn't seem to be there.)
