This is a must have.
I've had an invisibleSHIELD on all my portable devices (iPhone, GPS, even my Macbook Pro) for years now. Wouldn't dream of not protecting the iPad with it.

Invisible Shield by Zagg is a great way to protect your iPad from scratches. Just be VERY careful when installing it that you don't soak your iPad. When you purchase it you will get an installation kit that includes a small spray bottle and a black rubber squeegee. The best "tip" I can offer is to hold the Invisible Shield after you have pealed it off the paper in one hand and spray the sticky side of it liberally. Then mist the face of your iPad gently from a distance (about a foot away) and then apply it to the device. Now the tricky part is using the squeegee. After you line up the Invisible Shield start in the middle and in a quick even motion slide the squeegee away so that the water is forced AWAY from the iPad and lands on the surface your working on instead.
