iPad Keyboard Dock

The iPad Keyboard Dock is a charging dock attached to a full-sized keyboard. It can be used as a replacement for the virtual touch-screen keyboard and keeps the iPad in close proximity to allow multi-touch functionality. The Keyboard Dock includes an audio jack for external speakers and a rear 30-pin connector. When the iPad is docked, the 30-pin connector can be used to connect to an electrical outlet with the USB Power Adapter, sync to a computer, or use other accessories such as the Camera Connection Kit. The iPad Keyboard Dock will cost $69.

the 7th key on the top row is blank.

If I put a Gelaskin on my iPad will it still fit into the dock?

7th key is not blank, its a stub.. there are 12 keys along the top, not including stub in the middle..
ps.. IMHO, i think ipad is history in the making , same as original P.C. was.. inasmuch as making everything else that came before obsolete..
