Can I control my Apple TV using the iPad?
One of the more appealing uses of the iPad is as a home theatre control center, using the iPad to control playback of music and video on devices around your home other than the iPad itself.
Despite the fact that the iPhone can already do this via the Remote application, many users are unaware of this fact and have found themselves wondering if the iPad will be able to do the same thing.
By simply installing the Remote application on your iPad, and completing the setup process, you can control either your Apple TV or your iTunes on your computer using the iPad.

If you have an HTPC (Home Theater PC) attached to your TV like I do, you can use your iPad as a remote mousepad and keyboard for that as well.
The Logitech Touch Mouse app in the Apple app store allows you to control your computer with your finger.
Its great for browsing the web on your TV or anything else that would require a wireless Keyboard or mouse to control this computer.
Just install the FREE touch mouse app, and also download the FREE touch mouse server program onto the computer that you want to control with the iPad.
The server program is located at www.logitech.com/touchmouse
