Can I print directly from the iPad?
UPDATE: Apple has added AirPrint to iPad iOS 4.2.1. This makes it possible to print directly from the iPad over a wireless network.
As of the initial release of the iPad, this is not currently available. The iPad OS has no support for printers, thus any printer -- whether wired or wireless -- can not be interacted with.
Whether Apple plans to add this feature in upcoming OS releases is still unknown.

There are various apps that allow this. you just need to do some research on which app does what. It would be nice to have built in support. I use an app (that I originally got for my ipod touch) called "eprint" that allows printing of photo's, contacts, and web pages (I had bought it for the web page printing originally). I print to my wireless HP printer. works great for me.
I got an app from epson and it works with the ipod touch and the ipad and a bluetooth insert on my epson 810 wifi all in one printer...and it only can print from the iphoto/pictures folder but is excellent.Maybe called something like iprint...there are others too.It was a free app.I've been printing all day...
