Does the iPad have a camera?

No.

Despite Apple's heavy focus on photos and photo sharing on the iPad, they opted not to include a camera on the back of the iPad.

Also, regardless of the many pre-announcement rumors about a front-facing camera for video conferencing, etc, there is also no camera on the front of the iPad.
