No, the iPad does not have an HDMI out port.

This has been a major gripe of many critics of the iPad.

Instead, iPad supports three methods of video output: Support for 1024 by 768 pixels with Dock Connector to VGA Adapter; 576p and 480p with Apple Component AV Cable; 576i and 480i with Apple Composite Cable.

UPDATE: The iPad gets HDMI out with an accessory from Apple, the Digital AV Adapter.
