What is the release date for the iPad?

As part of an announcement on March 5th, 2010, Steve Jobs announced the release and pre-order dates for the highly anticipated Apple iPad.

Wi-Fi only models will be available in stores on April 3rd, 2010.

Wi-Fi + 3G models are slated for release on April 30th, 2010.

iPad pre-orders outside the US will begin on May 10.
