This modulR thing looks really cool.

The only thing is no attachment for a typing angle like the Apple case...

I'd recommend a leather flap case. I got one from Cimo Cases and it's pretty good quality. 20 bucks free shipping. I got a soft gel case from them also which is pretty good. A little warning in the charging port isn't big enough but a quick cut with a razor fixes that.

Re: Found a good case?

I've been completely underwhelmed by the selection of cases at the apple store. Seems like they are only carrying a few cases, and no silicone cases at all. One thing I did notice is that the Speck PixelShield cases have a strong "chemical" odor to them. I wouldn't buy one for fear that the smell would never go away!

I like the hard candy hard sleeve. Be warned, they shipped some with rubber bumpers that had the velcro glued on. Mine came with sewed velcro. The case is very nice looking when zipped up. You can get any color so long as it is black. You can fold the front cover around for a nice fat book feel. It is this one http://www.hardcandycases.com/ipad-hardsleeve.html , not the one with the add outside bumps which, from what I can tell, is the same product. Not sure how well the cover would fold with those bumps. The bumpers are orange, not red, read somewhere someone whining about that. I think the Apple case, for the money, looks cheap. This as I say, looks very nice.

I don't recommend the speck for one reason, too narrow so it's ok for putting it in and removing it is risky. It's slippery and can drop it.

These look nice... but $65 bucks? I might be convinced to pay, but with the iPad coming next week I need a case way before June!

Those cases have a good price. I might keep it in mind. Thanks.

Look at www.casecrown.com.
They have a lot of really nice cases. They have a vertical messenger bag that's really cool. I like the leather flip a lot. perfect fit and really well thought out.

And right now they are having a mothers day sale. everything is an extra 20% off.
