I read somewhere, can't remember if it was Gawker or not, that it might be possible for hackers to intercept data headed to your iPad using your ICC ID.

anyone know if this is true or not? Has AT&T even disclosed whether it is possible yet?

Doubt you have anything to worry about. I might be biased though... I don't have a 3G iPad...

Was this isolated to iPad 3G owners or were iPhone 3G/3GS owners affected by the breach as well?

So far there's be no notification from AT&T to its customers of any kind. I'd assume there will be a formal statement from the company to iPad 3G customers, but as of now it is still pending.

As for individual notifications, I'd expect not. Chances are, AT&T may not even be able to determine exactly what was retrieved. It may be only GoatSec that knows that.
