Landscape or portrait view?

Hi guys! Am I the only one that hates the fact that some Application software on the iPad only works in Portrait View? I like to use My iPad in Landscape View. I don't see any benefit in Viewing the iPad in Portrait position. Why make the screen 9inches and not take advantage of the size? I bought the Popular Mechanics iPad Magazine and was very disappointed when it could only be viewed in Portrait Mode. I would rather swipe pages then scroll down the screen. Everthing is better in Landscape View. Mail,Web Pages,Books and Video. Is there anyone out there that Perfers Portrait over Landscape View?

I actually prefer magazines in portrait. I use the Zinio app for magazines, and in portrait, it's similar to the actual magazine experience.

A garden shed is the perfect place to keep all those gardening essentials in one place and you are thinking about building your own shed. You have been looking at plans for wooden garden sheds and there are so many to choose from you are not quite sure how to go about choosing the right garden shed plans for you.

Yeah I agree I prefer the landscape view over the portrait! Maybe, because of the widescreen era we live in????

Even in playing games or watching movie I prefer landscape view. It is so irritating if you can't view it in landscape view.
