Will the iPad come down in price immediately?

Remember the refund Apple sent to iPhone buyers who got shafted when they dropped price so quick? Now we know iPad only costs like $220 for Apple to make... how long can they keep it at $500???

I believe Apple will wait for a while... but I'm going to bet the price drops before xmas.

I wouldn't expect to see a price drop until well after Christmas. Maybe in 2011 before the next gen iPad comes out.

Think it depends how well ipad sells. If its a dud the price will come down quick

I think once ipad 2 comes out we will see a steep drop in todays iPads. I'm thinking 16gb wifi will run you $350.

Exactly, now there is no need to reduce costs of sale, in few european countries was just a premiere ;p
