ipad looks good but you can't beat e-ink. It looks like a real book. Apple can make nice looking graphics but after a while eyestrain will be just like using a computer.
yeah but e-ink can't show movies, photos, play games, etc ... so to me, the iPad is a MUCH more versatile device ... more bang for yer buck
The ipad is more versatile... but it's also not really an ebook reader.
I am hoping to use it as an ebook reader, but I am a bit concerned about the weight. It seemed pretty heavy when I was testing it out at the apple store. Also, there is a lot of glare. Maybe a matte screen protector would help...
Stanza is an ebook reader for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It works very well on those devices, but I am curious how it looks on the iPad, if it is at 2x pixels.

With iBooks letting you load ePub titles in, what would the point of stanza be?

I downloaded a bunch of books from the Drinkmalk site, and apparently they only work on Stanza, not on any other reading program. Not sure why, but that's what they said.
