I did mine with Spirit, no issues at all. Updated to current firmware and used jailbreakme with no issues on either my iPhone 4 or iPad.

If you're going to use JailbreakMe, you'll want to do it soon - Apple is releasing a patch to fill the security exploit that allows this to work. If you have already used it, be sure not to update your iDevice through iTunes until a new jailbreak is released.
