do we need any antirus for surfing and save the ipad against intrusions

The 4.0.1&3.2.2 updates protect against the PDF exploit. Other than that, I would recommend not clicking on unfamiliar links in unsolicited emails. As far as some type of antivirus software, I am unaware of any that exist for the iPad specifically. Hope that helped.

From what I know is there are very few viruses for the iPad enough so that you have the current firmware.
