Name's Alex,

I've used various apple products and absolutely love my Iphone. I plan to use my Ipad for video and book consumption. I'm not much of an audiophile and it's easier just to listen to music on the iphone in my pocket. I also like the possibilities the ipad has for a work tool. Overall I'm fairly excited about getting my hands on one too and putting this device through it's paces.

hehe alymer sounds like you have mixed feelings about the ipad .. well, welcome to the forum anyway ... hope it turns out more exciting than you think :)

Yo everybody,

To be seriously honest, I used to hate apple. Used to think their stuff was way overpriced.

However, all of that changed when I got the iPhone 3G.

Now I have a G4 that I bought to sync with my iPhone and newly Pre-ordered iPad (64 GB WiFi)

I ride the bus everyday to get to work for 1.5 hours each way, and the iPad is going to be the perfect thing to keep me occupied.

I recently sold my iPhone to save up money for the iPad and new iPhone, and I was working on a screenplay on it, so I cant wait to get back to that on my iPad!

I look forward to getting the new iPhone as soon as it is released, as well as possibly getting a used G5 someday within the next year.

I have come to appreciate the work that Apple puts into designing their products, and the ingenuity and talent behind their creations.

I really appreciate whoever created this site and I look forward to visiting here frequently while i have the iPad in my possession.

Its nice to have a bunch of fellow g33ks to talk to, without all of the trolling like there is on other boards.

Hopefully it stays that way!

millr -- was *exactly* the same way until I got the first generation iPhone .. now I have an iMac, Macbook, and 2 iPhones in the house.

Really excited about the I-PAD, I am a former APPLE employee (age 69) (Mac Specialist) at the Albuquerque Uptown Store. I
cancelled my Wi-Fi Pre Oder and opted out and pre ordered the 3G Model.....with mucho accessories. This FORUM should be a GREAT!!!! resource for everyone!!!!
