Re: Apple charging for ipad OS updates?

I read in a story somewhere that they would give up to and including Firmware 4.0 for free.

I think that after that though for full versions like 5.0 that it will be fair game to charge us.

I really don't have a problem with this because they need to make revenue up somewhere.

With the iPhone they get revenue from the data plans and per-phone subsidy from AT&T.
