The good thing about the built-in app is that it MS Exchange aware.
So I use Nuevasync to synchronize my calendars contact and mail from my Google accounts
to my iPhone and iPad.

You can create and edit events in your Google calendar and it then syncs to the iToy.

I checked and there are more options in Google calendar for weekdays and combinations
of weekdays, and you can repeat until ..date.. I created a test event like this and it shows
on the iPad as repeat : custom.

Nuevasync is great but if you set it up, just be aware to take the steps to save contacts.
There is an apple feature that the first time you sync contacts, it wipes the iToy contacts first.
