Hi - Is there an app that will allow me to send SMS messages to a list of multiple participants - for example - if I want to send a message to all the players in my football team, am I able to type one message and then send to a list of stored mobile numbers?

The iPad can't natively do SMS, but you can do it with third party apps like textPlus. You'll be given a special textPlus phone number, but your message will say it is from you ... then you can just add people from your contacts to the SMS.
