The 59th annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for Sunday, February 12 on CBS starting at 8 PM EST. The Recording Academy has released a trailer for its Grammy Live coverage, which begins at 3 PM EST. You can tune in to watch the free live stream here, but the Grammy Live channel only features a pre-show countdown and live behind the scenes footage. It does not offer a live stream of the actual awards show. If you're interested in streaming the pre-show festivities, the trailer does mention that the live stream will be available on "your desktop and mobile devices," but it does not include any information how to live stream it from Apple devices. We will update this post when more information is available.
Last year Apple TV and iOS users who wanted to live stream the 58th Grammy Awards had to download the CBS Full Episodes and Live TV app. The app is free but there is a monthly fee to access live content, however, the CBS All Access website does mention a 7-day free trial when signing up. This means you can avoid the subscription fee if you sign up and cancel before and after the awards ceremony airs.
CBS has not officially announced any live streaming news for the 59th Grammy Awards , but it is unlike they will decide to offer a free option this year. We will updated this page when the official live streaming information is released.
The CBS Full Episodes and Live TV app allows free users to access primetime, daytime and late-night television episodes in HD the day after they air. CBS All Access subscribers can watch the newest shows both live or on-demand. A CBS All Access subscription costs $5.99/month with limited commercials, or $9.99/month without.
