New iOS Games and Apps of the Week: Dice with Ellen and more

Ellen DeGeneres has released her second(?) title to the App Store. The new game called Dice with Ellen allows players to compete against Ellen herself in Yahtzee-like matches to win prizes. Players can challenge other Ellen fans from around the world, compete in dice tournaments, or try to beat Ellen’s score in Ellen’s Lucky Dice Challenge. Other features include dice customization, Facebook support so you can go head-to-head against friends and family, in-game chats, awards and achievements.

Dice with Ellen is available for free on the App Store.

The lost at sea RPG Sunless Sea received a release date this week. The Failbetter Games title will be published by BlitWorks, the creators of Don't Starve, on March 23rd. The game will only support the iPad Pro and include all DLC, except the Zubmariner expansion. GDC (Game Developer Conference) wraps today in San Francisco. Touch Arcade has gotten an early look at a few upcoming mobile titles, such as Iron Marines from Kingdom Rush creators Ironhide Game Studios, and a goofy narwhal fighting game. Power Rangers: Legacy Wars will land on the App Store on March 23. The fighting game allows you play as various characters from the show's long history. The teaser trailer shows the original Green Ranger battling the Red Ranger from the upcoming Power Rangers movie. Check it out below.

  • Smash Club: Streets of Shmeenis (Free) After the collapse of the Super Boys organization, street gangs fought among themselves for power over Boot City. In the end, the Boot Club, lead by Supreme Leader Shmeenis rose to take control. One vigilante decided he had enough.
