By default, iPhone applications -- when run on the Apple iPad -- are displayed at their native size pinned to the center of the iPad screen.
Users may double tap the application to stretch it to fit the iPad window using a feature known as "pixel doubling". This will, however, result in a noticeably reduced clarity of the application in question.
