How big is the Apple Watch?

UPDATE: The Apple Watch will be available in two sizes: a 38mm version and a 42mm version.

Apple did not announce the size of its Apple Watch when it unveiled the new device on September 9, 2014. The Apple Watch will be available in three collections (Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch Edition) and two sizes: large and small. The collections will feature aluminium, stainless steel and 18-carat gold finishes and can be combined with different bands. The Apple Watch will be available early 2015 starting at $349.

The size of Apple's rumored iWatch is unknown at this time, but the Economic Daily claims the wearable device will be launched as three models. One model will feature a 1.6-inch touchscreen and two models will be equipped with 1.8-inch displays. Other reports have indicated sizes between 1.3-inches to 2.5-inches.
