Only the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus iSight cameras are able to snap Live Photos, but they can be viewed on other iOS devices and Mac computers. Live Photos are animated images like .GIFs, not videos, according to Apple. The new iSight camera snaps an extra 1.5 seconds of footage when taking a photo giving images animated like movement.
