Apple delaying the iPad Pro release until November has given case manufacturers time to build accessories for the 12.9-inch tablet. Logitech claims they have worked closely with Apple to create their own external keyboard called the CREATE Keyboard Case. The case utilizes the new Smart Connector found on the iPad Pro to do away with charging and Bluetooth pairing.
The CREATE Keyboard features full-size keys in a QWERTY layout, and it is designed from a "tightly-woven premium fabric" to protect your device from "bumps, scratches and spills." Logitech also promises that the case is "thin and lightweight" which is an important feature for an iPad Pro accessory since the device already weighs 1.57 pounds.
The CREATE Keyboard Case will begin shipping on the same day as the iPad Pro. Pricing is unknown at this time.
InvisibleSHIELD maker ZAGG has also announced two iPad Pro keyboard cases called the slim book and Messenger Universal. The Messenger will begin shipping in November, followed by the slim book in December. You can get a sneak peek at both keyboards at zagg.com.
