Making playlists is an important feature on Spotify. It allows you to create your own channels based on any category you desire. Creating a playlist on your iPad is no different than creating one on your iPhone and they can be used across devices as long as you are logged in to the same account. Here's how to create a playlist on Spotify.
- Open your Spotify app on your iPad.
- Log in to the account you want to us across devices.
- Tap Your Music (or Your Library) on the left.
- Tap Playlists.
- Tap Create new Playlist.
Now you can name your playlist anything you want, such as a genre, artist or activity like "running mix." After your playlists are all created you can search Spotify for songs and artists you want to add. You can add individual songs, albums or pre-made playlists by tapping the circle with three dots next to your selection and then tapping "Add to Playlist." Once your Playlist is filled with content, just navigate back to Your Library, select the playlist you want to listen to, then hit Shuffle to begin playing the songs you've included.
