Developer Telltale Games has put itself on the map by releasing episodic game series based on popular franchises, such as The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and MInecraft. The company plans to continue its success by releasing a game based on DC's Batman, and continuing with its flagship Walking Dead series.
Job J Stauffer, Head of Creative Communications for Telltale announced on Sunday that Batman - The Telltale Series will launch sometime this summer, followed by The Walking Dead Season 3 in the fall. It is unknown if this is the official name of the Batman game, but Telltale is not known for using the most creative titles.
Stauffer also alerted the media at E3 that they should secure an invitation to Telltale at "Wayne Manor," according to Touch Arcade. This means we should learn more about the game soon, and hopefully see some gameplay.
In an interview with Beelding Cool back in April, Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman confirmed that Clementine would return for season 3 of Walking Dead and noted that the game would finally feature a timelime close to the current comics.
"Season 3 of the Telltale series is exciting to me just because of how the timeline works. Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics concurrently, like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that season 3 will be in."
