What iPad models support iOS 10 or later?

Apple introduced iOS 10 on Monday, June 13 during its WWDC keynote at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. Older devices such as the iPhone 4s, original iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3 and original iPad mini do not support iOS 10. The iPad 2/3 and iPad mini can only be updated to iOS 9.3.3. Here's a list of all the devices that support iOS 10 or later:

iPad

  • iPad mini 2 - 4
  • iPad 4
  • iPad Air 1 - 2
  • iPad Pro (9.7- and 12.9-inch)

iPhone

  • iPhone 5
  • iPhone 5c
  • iPhone 5s
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
  • iPhone 6s and 6s Plus
  • iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

iPod touch

  • iPod touch (6th generation)
