None of the current (06/09/17) iPad models are waterproof. This includes the latest iPad mini, regular (9.7-inch) iPad (5th generation) and all current iPad Pro models. The only waterproof iOS devices are the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. The Apple Watch 2 is also waterproof while the original Apple Watch is only splash resistant.
