Random House, the same publisher who released the Harry Potter Enhanced Edition is set to release a special edition of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series to iBooks. The Game of Thrones: Enhanced Edition features all new watercolor covers, which you can see here, in-depth character maps, Martin-approved annotations and more.

The new maps at beginning of each chapter gives readers and interactive look at the current character's location and details of all the surrounding castles and lands, and an appendix at the end of the novel includes additional information about Westeros, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Telltale today released several screenshots for the next chapter to its Game of Thrones video game. Episode 5 titled, "A Nest of Vipers" will launch next week for Windows, OS X, PlayStation 3/4, Xbox 360/One, iOS and Android. Here is the official release schedule posted to the Telltale Games blog:

HBO In Talks to Launch New Streaming Service to Apple TV and More

HBO is preparing to put another nail in the cable television coffin by partnering with Apple and other companies such as Roku to launch its new subscription based streaming service in April, according to the International Business Times. HBO wants to launch the standalone service called "HBO Now" in "conjunction with the the premiere of the fifth season of Game of Thrones".

The new service will allow customers to subscribe to HBO directly instead of paying high fees for bundled channels from cable or satellite providers such as Comcast or Verizon. The cost of an HBO Now subscription will be around $15 a month when purchased directly from HBO. The company hopes to offer an HBO Now app on third-party distribution services such as Apple TV, Roku, PlayStation and more, just like it does now with its HBO Go service for current customers.

The game follows the House Forrester, a noble family loyal to the Starks of Winterfell, who have been caught up in the War of the Five Kings. The game allows players to explore popular Game of Thrones locations, such as King’s Landing and The Wall, and interact with characters from HBO’s hit TV show.

Telltale Games has made a name for itself by bringing the popular Walking Dead franchise to iOS devices and other platforms as an interactive episodic video game, and now the studio is tackling HBO's popular series Game of Thrones. Unlike The Walking Dead game where players assume the role of a character not found in the comic book or TV series, players will be able to play as five different members of House Forrester, a banner house mentioned briefly in the fifth book “A Dance with Dragons".

Telltale released the first trailer and revealed some of the main characters who will appear in the game to various websites on Thursday. No release date or price has been announced, but Telltale series normally cost around $4.99 per episode. The first season of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series will include six episodes.

Disruptor Beam and Kongregate have teamed up to bring HBO's Game of Thrones to the iPad. The free to play strategy RPG is based on the hit television series and George R.R. Martin’s novels A Song of Ice and Fire! The game begins in the days before the mysterious death of the King’s Hand.
